Want to capture excellent photos on your very own DSLR's on manual mode? Then here is the answer for you question. Firstly you need to understand three important terms that's the Aperture, Shutter speed, and the ISO.

Aperture controls light that passes into the camera lens while clicking pictures. If you shoot with small aperture, smallest the opening it will have, this may result less amount of light to enter. Let’s say, you need to click a landscape picture at a bright sunlight — how do you fix that? The answer is very Simple — just choose a Smaller Aperture. The aperture’s are mainly measured in f-stops. A higher f-stop means a smaller aperture opening while a lower f-stop means a bigger aperture opening.

Now, it's the shutter speed you need to get familiar with. It’s basically the duration of time in which the camera shutter is open to allow light to enter into the camera sensor. Shutter speeds are usually measured in fractions of a second. Fast shutter speeds allow less light into the

camera sensor and are used for bright-light and daytime photography while slow shutter speeds allow more light into the camera sensor. So therefore, slow shutter speeds are good option for a night time photography, But If u use the camera just with your hand u will have to deal with motion blur in your pictures to over come this you need to use a tripod or also a remote timer just to avoid some extra shakes of camera by pressing the shutter button. Higher Shutter speed can help us to capture the moving object by freezing the object in the picture, this is basically used by some photographer to capture the pictures in wild life photography as every seconds count:).

Finally, its the ISO. ISO is all about the level of the light which can be produced by the camera in low light conditions by gathering the available light source around. Usually, it’s measured in numbers. A lower number represents lower sensitivity to light which means in brighter sunny

day you can lower down your ISO to get a less brighter/darker images, while higher ISO means higher sensitivity to light. As its sound to good to click pictures in low light there is also a drawback in using higher ISO i.e it produce noisier images which means your picture will not be clear & it will also not be sharp. Simply you will end up with grainy pictures if you use high ISO...

So how do you take properly exposed photos, then? Those that are not too dark or too bright. The three key terms comes into the picture i.e. – Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO – need to play together well hand-in-hand.

You can simply refer the below diagram featured here to understand more about the same, the first level represents aperture sizes, second level represents the shutter speeds, and the third level represents levels of ISO.

Best way to know the best setting of your camera.

Mastering the above can result a a great pictures.
